Attorney Kayla Kudratt is a proud native of DeKalb County. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies from Georgia Southern University and a Juris Doctorate from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School where she graduated from the Criminal Justice Honor’s Program in the top 10% of her class. Attorney Kudratt is an experienced trial attorney who has built a respectable reputation amongst peers, judges and the legal community.
After graduating from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, she began her career as an Assistant District Attorney where she prosecuted over a thousand felony cases, including murder, armed robbery, kidnapping, drug trafficking, vehicular homicide, firearm possession, identify fraud and theft crimes. Attorney Kudratt was quickly promoted to the Crimes Against Women and Children/ Sexual Assault/ Domestic Violence Unit where she was the lead prosecutor on several media cases in Metro Atlanta. In this specialized unit, she prosecuted some of the State’s most serious crimes such as rape, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, child molestation, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, aggravated stalking, cruelty to children and domestic violence, handling every phase of the investigations, presentment of indictments to the grand jury and trials. In her career as a prosecutor in Metro Atlanta, Attorney Kudratt never lost a jury trial. Her reputation was reinforced by her standing as a detail-oriented, dedicated, and fair prosecutor both inside and outside the courtroom

She is an experienced litigator who is dedicated to advocating relentlessly for her clients. Her dedication, compassion, knowledge, and experience have allowed her to excel in the courtroom while handling complex and challenging cases.
Attorney Kudratt is very active in her community and serves as a mentor for the Princeton P.E.A.R.L.S mentoring program. She also serves as a Board Member on the Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School’s Alumni Board and volunteers several times throughout the year at the Law School providing mentorship to aspiring attorneys and participating in speaking engagements. When Attorney Kudratt is not fighting for justice in the courtroom or volunteering, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking and traveling the world.
